I was watching the BBC news last week (wow, this is going back some, I haven’t watched TV in years lol) and they interviewed Kylie Minogue, ding, ding, ding!! went my “who shell I draw next brain” :) I googled Kylie and found this image, cos she was wearing a Beanie I knew it would be hard. I tried to draw Sackboy a few months back and ended up abandoning him, cos it was too tough. I need to start trying to draw more woollen fabrics though, as I find them really hard.
I like how she turned out for the most part, a few bits I had to stop and think, how the hell am I gonna do this? lol, it was fun though and this was the first drawing where I listened to epic music video mixes on YouTube while drawing! They really pump you up!:)
“I’m trying to be myself more and more. The more confidence you have in yourself… the more you realise that this is you, and life isn’t long. So get on with it!“
– Kylie Minogue

“Who are you?
Are you in touch with all of your darkest fantasies?
Have you created a life for yourself where you can experience them?
I have. I am fucking crazy.
But I am free.” – Lana Del Rey
“I really think it’s important and is why Rocky Horror has stood the test of time. It’s been around for 43 years. It’s liberating: the audience can come along, release themselves and dress up.” – Diana Vickers
“A scar indicates that something is missing. You lost something important, and there’s a hole in your heart. Having that empty hole can lead to anger, hate, despair, or. . .it can make you reach for the sky” – Kurasaki Fuuko, Accel World
“Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time.”
