REALISTIC PENCIL DRAWINGS
“CAPTURING FEMININITY IS WHERE MY HEART IS.
I started Drawing in 2013 just for fun; sketching random scenes from Anime, or trying to bring my favourite Videogame Characters to life. However, before I knew it, I found myself going down a more realistic route :)”

lilSOPHIE
“In 2013 I had the idea of a character called lilSOPHIE … in 2017, I finally started to bring her to life. She’s a bit cheeky, but I’ll let her take over from here.
My creator, Sophie Lawson, calls me lilSOPHIE; so I like to call her big Sophie :) My little page is a bit like me at the moment, not fully formed lol, but soon, once big Sophie gets off her fat arse, I’ll be sharing some of my daily affirmations with you … and maybe a little bit more, eww, does that sound rude?” *hides face*

2018 RECAP
I look back at 2018, talking about some of the highs and lows and looking ahead to 2019. A year I hope is full of Creating and Playing :)
EPISODE 41 – PODCASTING, GOALS AND LONELINESS
This is the first unedited podcast I’ve ever done … well, there was a 5 second clip I cut out when I burped lol but apart from that, this was all done in one take. You know what, it felt Liberating :) I talk about Podcasting, Goals and a lil bit about Loneliness. The book book is Journeys Out of the Body by Robert Monroe, and the lil Art Tip is how 30 minutes of practice before bed, can lead to big improvements over time. I hope you like this episode … one of my goals from now on, is to do all future podcasts live, with no editing :) Woohoo! Happy 2019 :)
EPISODE 40 – INTERPRETING DREAMS WITH AUTOMATIC WRITING
This weeks lil episode is more about the tings, as I talk about Interpreting Dreams with Automatic Writing. There’s also the Book Book, which is Understanding Dreams by Keith Hearne and David Melbourne, and for a bit of arty tings, we have the lil Art Tip, which is a super easy way to create the effect of squinting when working digitally. Hope you like this one :)
EPISODE 39 – SOCIAL MEDIA AS AN ARTIST
This weeks lil episode is another one of those brain dump ones, this time, about Social Media. I talk about how Social Media is both good and bad, Curating content and the struggles of Focusing. There’s also the lil Art Tip, which is about Sharpening Pencils, the Book Book, which is a beautiful lil art book called Momentary, The Art of Ilya Kuvshinov … plus there’s a bit of Lucid Dreaming at the end too :) Hope you like this one.
EPISODE 38 – THANK YOU SAUSAGES
This lil podcast’s about saying Thank You when things aren’t going so well, a new Fun 8 Minute Drawing Challenge I’ve found, and Sausages … this weeks lil Art Tip is actually a lil Sausage Tip :) There’s also the BOOK BOOK, which is a book called Feeling is the Secret, by Neville Goddard. Hope you like this sausage lol
EPISODE 37 – GESTURE DRAWING
This lil one’s all about Gesture Drawing; I talk about why it’s my most fun drawing exercise, how online resources QuickPoses.com and Croquis Cafe can help improve your Gesture Drawing skills, and there’s this weeks lil Art Tip, which is Gesture Drawing related. We also have a new feature this week in Book Book Time :) where I’ll be looking at a different book each episode, and this weeks Book Book changed my life, it’s Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself: How To Lose Your Mind And Create A New One, by Dr Joe Dispenza. Hope you like this one :)
