‘Talk About Sacrifice’ was this weeks lil topic, not the human kind, but the every day sort of sacrifice :) It ends up going all over the place talking about the Struggles of Pursuing a Passion, while still getting the Bills Paid, what tings you Should and Shouldn’t be Sacrificing, how Transitioning is maybe a Distraction, and how sometimes I feel like Life before Art was so much Simpler… hope you find it interesting :)
‘You Don’t Need Social Media’ was this weeks lil topic, and I came away from this one thinking, Social Media is a Paradox, because as an Artist … you don’t need it, but you also do need it. Or do you? Maybe you only Feel like you need it? It’s fascinating, but it seems to be about finding balance so that Social Media supports your Art Adventure, instead of becoming the Journey. Hope you enjoy this one.
‘What are you currently Struggling with?’, is this weeks random topic … and it ends up being an episode about the Struggles of trying to Curate and Focus an Instagram feed: How do you decide what to focus on, when multiple Passions seem right? Do you even need to curate an Instagram Feed? Why is Focus so bleeding hard? lol This one’s a bit like being a pinball bouncing around inside my brain as I try to work out what to do. Hope you like this one :)
This one’s about Iterating in Public, and how I’m going to try a new format for the show. I also talk a lil about my time at a recent Life Drawing class with the amazing Ian Barlow, and a few other bits and bobs. Hope you enjoy it :)
This was a weird one! I was trying to record a different episode talking about some of my Inspirational People, but it was taking so long I thought … let’s make this weeks topic about how stuff takes longer than you think :) Turns out there’s a name for it too, it’s called Hofstadter’s Law. Hope you enjoy this lil one :)
Something changed after last weeks fast of not eating any food for 50 hours, because ever since I’ve felt like a different person. It’s Time for Change, and this episode is all about it, Sacrifice and dealing with Videogame Addiction. It’s also episode 50, so to celebrate, I filmed this one in front of the webcam for YouTube. Woohoo! Hope you like this one :)
This lil episode is one of them brain dump ones, where I just talk about tings currently on my mind, like: Dealing with Burnout, Finding Balance, Playing Videogames, the link between Spirituality and Art, Meditation, Dreaming, Social Anxiety … I also talk about a couple of books, one called Discover Your Psychic Powers by Tara Ward and another called Daily Rituals by Mason Curry. Hope you like this one :)
This weeks lil episode is another one of those brain dump ones, this time, about Social Media.
I talk about how Social Media is both good and bad, Curating content and the struggles of Focusing.
There’s also the lil Art Tip, which is about Sharpening Pencils, the Book Book, which is a beautiful lil art book called Momentary, The Art of Ilya Kuvshinov … plus there’s a bit of Lucid Dreaming at the end too :)
Hope you like this one.
This lil podcast’s about saying Thank You when things aren’t going so well, a new Fun 8 Minute Drawing Challenge I’ve found, and Sausages … this weeks lil Art Tip is actually a lil Sausage Tip :) There’s also the BOOK BOOK, which is a book called Feeling is the Secret, by Neville Goddard. Hope you like this sausage lol
This weeks lil episode could be the last one before they put me in a Mental Asylum lol It starts out talking about how I think I need to go back to basics with my Art, before I bounce all over the place asking questions like: What are we Doing here? Are Introverts Aliens? What is Rest? Is the Subconscious an External Source? Are some Thoughts other Peoples Feelings? … I also talk about AI, Virtual Reality and Out of Body Experiences, as well as this weeks lil Art Tip, which is how to Grid a Pencil Drawing without putting any lines on your paper. This one is a lil all over the place, but hopefully you enjoy it :)
