The Drawing exercise Gesture Drawing and Letting Go of Art are the main topics for this one, as I attempt to burn my 20,000 Gesture Drawings; Five years worth of Gesture Drawing go up in smoke, or do they? Dun dun dun lol
I cover a lot of tings on this one,
Gesture Drawing resources – QuickPoses and Croquis Cafe,
Traditional vs Digital,
The KOH-I-NOOR Clutch Pencil with Magic Coloured Leads,
Proko’s Figure Drawing Course,
Practicing Bad Habits,
Should you start your Gestures with the Head?,
and How the Mind is a Nobhead!
You’ll hear Fireworks exploding in the background at times, as I recorded this one spur of the moment on Halloween night, KA-BOOM! Think it adds a bit of ambiance to the episode :)
I had an aha! Moment during this one … I realised Gesture Drawing isn’t about collecting your Drawings, it’s about showing up to do the Drawing Exercise.
Can you smell burning? I know I can lol
Hope you have fun with this one :)
This About The Tings episode see me talking about Willys and Fannys, or Cocks and Pussys lol
I talk about how different words for the same ting, have different Feelings about them, and ask the question, How important is having a Willy or a Fanny?
This Brain Dump episode goes all over the place, but by the end I realise that sometimes you need to go through an Experience, in order to realise you didn’t actually have to; it’s funny, kind of like a Paradox :)
I also talk about
The Importance of Words,
Hope you enjoy dis one :)
Dennis had a week off this week, so instead of a random topic, I talk about Haters. Why do Haters Hate? It’s a nice lil discussion that comes full circle at the end, when I start talking about Lucid Dreaming and how you can use them to start facing your fears. I also share a fun way of turning Haters into something positive, that I’m calling the Ice Cream Haters 10, and there’s a lil bit about a new Art Challenge called the Cats of June 2019. As always, hope you enjoy it :)
‘Read One of your Laurels Gender Identity Clinic Visit Diary Entries’ was this weeks lil topic, and it turns into a discussion about Dealing with Deep Mental Issues, Social Anxiety, Ancient Civilisations, Do we have Multiple Spirits inside of us?, Are Animals Transgender? … this one goes all over the place, and me camera conks out half way, so there’s even some close up footage of the Moon if you watch the video version. Hope you like it :)
‘Take off your Hat and Talk about your Hair’ was this weeks random topic, selected by new employee Dennis the Doggy lol This was a scary episode, where I show my bald patches on camera and talk about my Hair Insecurities and Self Acceptance; I almost didn’t release this one, through Fear of what people may say, but as I talk about on the episode … the only way to deal with Insecurities is to start talking about them, which will hopefully lead to Self Acceptance. Hope you find this one interesting.
Something changed after last weeks fast of not eating any food for 50 hours, because ever since I’ve felt like a different person. It’s Time for Change, and this episode is all about it, Sacrifice and dealing with Videogame Addiction. It’s also episode 50, so to celebrate, I filmed this one in front of the webcam for YouTube. Woohoo! Hope you like this one :)
On this lil episode, I start by sharing an embarrassing story, before jumping into the main topic of the drawing exercise Automatic Drawing. I also revisit a book I read in 2017 called Feel The Fear and Do It Away, by Susan Jeffers, talk about the subconscious and how 95% of the time we don’t even know we’re doing, and finally … the lil art tip looks at the benefits of taking a break :) Hope you like this one.
This lil episode is one of them brain dump ones, where I just talk about tings currently on my mind, like: Dealing with Burnout, Finding Balance, Playing Videogames, the link between Spirituality and Art, Meditation, Dreaming, Social Anxiety … I also talk about a couple of books, one called Discover Your Psychic Powers by Tara Ward and another called Daily Rituals by Mason Curry. Hope you like this one :)
This lil episode’s all about planning, something I’ve been doing a lot of lately with my Passion Planner and Wunderlist App. I talk about some of the stuff that seems to be working, and tings that aren’t going quite according to plan. There’s also a new feature this episode, called the Fascinating Fact … where I share a fascinating fact about something to do with Art, Spirituality, Transitioning and Stuff like that. Hope you like this one :)
This is the first unedited podcast I’ve ever done … well, there was a 5 second clip I cut out when I burped lol but apart from that, this was all done in one take. You know what, it felt Liberating :) I talk about Podcasting, Goals and a lil bit about Loneliness. The book book is Journeys Out of the Body by Robert Monroe, and the lil Art Tip is how 30 minutes of practice before bed, can lead to big improvements over time. I hope you like this episode … one of my goals from now on, is to do all future podcasts live, with no editing :) Woohoo! Happy 2019 :)
