This one was fun. I dive into the book Colour Therapy by Sue Lilly, and talk about all the different colours, and how they affect us on an energy level.
There’s lil Art Tips too, like how Yellow and Brown are good colours to have around while Studying to help focus the mind!
Hope you enjoy this lil ramble about Colour Therapy, which covers stuff like:
The Power of Colour,
Society & Beliefs around Colour,
Feelings vs Colour Theory,
Using Colour to Tell Stories,
and Chocolate Cake :)
And that’s that lol
Wakey Wakey! Can you hear that? I never planned to talk about this topic, but it popped into my head, so I went with it … on this episode I talk about the Virus, and how I see it as The Wake Up Call we all need.
Something I’ve realised over the past few years is that Change is hard; the Transition from old to new is super Uncomfortable, but I see this lil period we’re in right now as a Beautiful Opportunity for us Humans to Learn and Grow, and hopefully Come Together.
Lots of Topics on this one, such as:
The Ancient Past,
How Thoughts Lead to Action,
and we have a lil bit of African Drumming at the end :)
Hope you like this one.
What a weird week this has been. It’s been a week of Distractions, and in this episode I talk about a lil article I found on Steemit.com, entitled ‘Starving Your Distractions’.
This ends up being one of those Therapy Session type episodes where I just talk and see what comes out of my head.
I talk about:
My Art Desk,
Tricks of the Mind,
Detaching from Negative People,
Dealing with Negative Thoughts,
Having Multiple Devices,
Video Game Addiction,
Video Game Characters,
and Distractions :)
After recording this one I felt a lot better; It’s true what they say…It’s Good To Talk!
Hope you find this one interesting.
It’s episode 100! Woohoo, and to celebrate we have my lovely Sister Lorna Lawson on the show, for a fun lil interview type ting where we sat down and chatted about stuff like:
What Happens When We Die?
What Makes A Female?
and Sausages or Fish Fingers?
I hope you like this one, and thank you so much for all the Nice Comments and Tings you’ve sent me over the past 100 episodes.
Love You Long Time!
NO! That’s what I said out loud during the recording of a YouTube video when I got hit with a wave of Negative Thoughts about my voice.
Once I had finished recording, I realised it would make a good topic for this weeks About the Tings episode of the So Free Art Podcast.
Negative Thoughts are Pretty Powerful, and Super Sneaky, but once you start putting Awareness on the Mind, you see them for what they really are…
It’s funny though, because even when you know what’s going on, they still seem to be running the show; It’s bloody mental lol
On this episode I talk about some of my main reoccurring Negative Thoughts, Tings that can help, such as Automatic Writing, and I share some of my Personal Experiences Exposing the Lies of the Mind.
I also talk about:
The Baby Step Approach,
Keeping a Diary,
and we end with a bit of African Drumming.
I do hope you enjoy this one.
Books! I love even more books in this episode, which is part two of looking at the Art and Spiritual Books currently on me bookshelf.
Part one covered mostly Spiritual Books, while this one is mostly Art Books.
Some of the Books and tings covered include:
Color And Light by James Gurney,
The War of Art by Steven Pressfield,
The Natural Way To Draw by Nicolaides,
Framed Ink by Marcos Mateu-Mestre,
Perspective Made Easy by Ernest R. Norling,
The Hero With A Thousand Faces by Joseph Campbell,
The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho,
Video Game Books,
My Perspective Struggles,
Hope you like it :)
Books! I love books, and on this episode I take a look at the Art and Spiritual Books currently on me bookshelf waiting to be read.
This one ended up running longer than expected, so I split it into two parts. Part one covers mostly Spiritual Books, part two next week will be mostly Art Books.
Some of the Books and tings covered include:
Scrum by Jeff Sutherland,
Rebel Buddha by Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche,
Daily Rituals by Mason Currey,
The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle,
and Anthony Peake.
Hope you enjoy :)
Hope you enjoy this talk about Saying No that goes completely off the rails by the end; I’ve so much more to say about this topic, but it will have to wait for another day as I couldn’t talk anymore by the end. Literally couldn’t speak lol
Some of the tings I did discuss include:
Life Getting In The Way,
How to Say No,
and a bit of coughing!
January was a very odd month for the Podcast, but hopefully normal service will resume next week :)
This one’s a Mystery! Thought it might be fun to keep the topic a Secret from you, seeing as I didn’t know what I was going to be talking about until co-host lil Dennis randomly pulled it out of my bag.
I used to do this all the time, about a year a go, and I forgot how hard but fun it can be. Really enjoyed this, it’s fascinating to see what the mind comes up with when it’s put on the spot.
Some of the tings I talk about include:
How Painting has a life of it’s own,
Honey and Lemon Lockets,
I also talk a bit about Boogies lol I wasn’t feeling very well during this one and one fell onto my drawing. Eww!
Hope you like.
The Creators Creations are Creating the Creator. I came up with that Paradoxical thought, and it sums up the out there’ness of a Theory I talk about on this ‘About The Tings’ episode.
It covers a Meditation I had earlier this week, where I saw the whole of Space inside of itself, in a single Point Particle.
I talk about stuff like:
4D Tesseract Shapes,
What is Reality,
Time and Space,
and Out of Body Experiences.
I even talk about the videogame Portal 2 at the end of the episode, and Formula One at the start … oh and lil Dennis has been promoted to co-host lol
Hope you enjoy this one :)
