Transgender Links and Resources with Transgender Artist Sophie Lawson

Hello *waves* In this diary entry you’ll find some useful transitioning links and resources that have helped me over the years, and will hopefully help you too :)

THE TRACE APP • Co-founded by Aydian Dowling, Elizabeth Rhodes, and Taylor Greene, the TRACE app connects the transgender community with Ally’s by including a community engagement feature to share your transition with pride and confidence; TRACE is a safe place to transition.
NOT ALONE PLYMOUTH • A local Transgender Support Group in Plymouth, run by the lovely Amber and Erin. MtF, FtM, Non Binary … it doesn’t matter, the guys and girls here are some of the most inspiring people you’ll ever meet.
BE BEAUTIFUL • Becky, who runs Be Beautiful, helped remove my unwanted facial hair with electrolysis. Not only did she look after me, but we had some lovely fun chats, she is so cool and makes you feel super relaxed!
QUEEN OF DREAMS • Getting married, or just fancy slipping into a sexy wedding dress? Lorna, who runs Queen of Dreams, is trans friendly and will make you feel very welcome.
GENDER GP • An online Transgender Medical clinic, run by Dr Helen Webberley, providing confidential, safe and genuine medical care.
JASMINE TAYLOR BEAUTY • Trans friendly makeup artist Jasmine Taylor, who will look after you and make you look super sexy, she gave me my first ever make over back in 2016 :)
FREE DEED POLL UK • I used this site to change my name by Deed Poll at the end of 2017. It’s a free service, and super simple to use, all you need is a printer :)
NOOGLEBERRY • If you want bigger breasts naturally, and are prepared to put the time in, this device really does work. An hour a day with this device will give you results!
PHILIPS LUMEA IPLDEVICE • I was cursed with a super hairy body, like … really hairy. I first started using this hair removal system back in 2014, I cannot recommend it enough. Being hair free and only having to shave once every couple of weeks is the best feeling ever!
SOCIAL ANXIETY COURSE • Sam Schaeffer, who runs this course, is the perfect teacher to help understand and overcome Social Anxiety, having suffered from it himself for many years. A simple course, that works :)
THE ANGELS TRANSGENDER FORUM • This site is home to one of my favourite transgender forums, which I joined in July 2016. Everyone is so nice and friendly, you will learn a lot from the people here.
CONTRAST WIGS • I bought my first ever wig from this site back in 2003. Sue Stephens, who runs the site, is a lovely, helpful lady. Over the years I’ve purchased many wigs from her … all of them have been beautiful!
PLYM HAIR AND EXTENSIONS • I’ve purchased some lovely wigs from Plym Hair and Extensions, and the cool thing is, the lady who runs the shop will let you try whatever you want on without fear of being judged.
