SCARLET
This drawing was a gift for my Gender Therapist. Scarlet is her cat, and I think she’s a beauty, especially her eyes :) The reference photo wasn’t as clear as I would have liked, and her fur being all black made this a real challenge, but as always, I did my best so I’m happy :)
My therapist is the most important person in the world to me, so I felt a lot of pressure working on this one. I also wanted to present it to her at our Christmas session, so I had a deadline hanging over me too … I was relieved once I finally signed it in time :)
Ahha, that’s another thing. I never normally sign my drawings, but this was my first drawing since I legally changed my name to Sophie Lawson, so I signed this one with my new Sophie signature :) Wahooo lol She emailed me after Christmas to say how much she loved it, so, unless she’s a good liar, she’s happy … which makes me even more happy :)
