29 – FOCUSING ON ONE PASSION

This lil episode is another one of those Art Focused Therapy Session ones, where I just empty the contents of my head into the microphone on the topic of Focusing on One Passion.

I talk about the conflict of knowing I NEED TO FOCUS ON MY ART, but feeling like I’m not able to … even though I know I am.

This is a really tough topic for me, and it scares me a bit, because I have so much I want to share about my Transgender journey, about spiritual things like Lucid Dreaming and so many photos I want to add to My Photos, but I can’t do everything.

We only have so much time, and time spent doing other things, is time not spent Focusing on One Passion.

Thing is, I know there’s a sweet spot, a place where I can focus on my Art, while still allowing myself to do the other things, just not feeling like I have to do all them to the same level of focus.

Enter lilSOPHiE, who I believe could be like a loophole that will allow me to focus on my Art, while finding balance by still being able to cover my Transgender tings and Spiritual stuff within her art.

It’s a hard one this, focusing on one passion, but as I type these show notes up, I have had a bit of an epiphany, which I’ll hopefully share on next weeks episode :) As for this episode, I also talk about Mindset while Drawing, share another Lucid Dream experience, where the Dream Characters made me Lucid and took me to previous Dream Locations, and there’s also this weeks lil ART TIP, which is

lil ART TIP
KEEP YOUR OLD DRAWINGS

There’s so many reasons why it’s worth hanging onto your old drawings:

They can act as inspiration and motivation in the future, Help Improve your Mindset while Drawing by showing that Your Mind Lies To You, and they even have this fun Nostalgic quality about them.

Keeping Your Old Drawings is something I highly recommend doing … especially the drawings you think are the worst :)

Hope you like this one.
