35 – ARE VIDEOGAMES BAD FOR YOU?

In this weeks lil episode, I ask the question, Are Videogames Bad For You? You can replace Videogames with any hobby really, as I think anything is bad if the balance isn’t right. Artists seem to be drawn to the creative nature of Videogames, but Are Videogames Bad?

I talk about how the past few years I’ve been stuck in a cycle of Accepting, and than pushing away, videogames in my life. Feeling Guilty for playing Videogames was my main issue, but I think I may have worked something out … I was Fed a Lie in my Childhood; I was made to believe videogames were bad, and it’s been stuck deep inside of my subconscious ever since.

So Are Videogames Bad? Depends if you want to believe the lies of not :)

lil ART TIP TIME
TAKE YOUR TIME WHEN DRAWING REALISTIC HAIR

Lee Hammond said a really nice quote in her book, How To Draw Lifelike Portraits From photographs, where she said something along the lines of, When you think you’re finished rendering hair, you’re probably only a third of the way there.

Drawing Realistic Hair that has Volume, Depth and looks Full and Fluffy, is all about Taking your Time and Building it up in Layers. I feel with hair, you can never have too many Layers; the More the Merrier :)

To finish off, there’s a slice of Lucid Dreaming talk too, and a very odd experience I had last week, of Five False Awakenings in a Row. It got a little bit unsettling towards the end, but fascinating at the same time lol I also talk a bit about How Lucid Dreaming is helping improve my Waking Life.

Hope you like this one :)
