I also tell a lil story at the end about a Meditation I recently had, which was … umm … interesting!
Hope you like this one :)

Being with Nature Creates Memorable Experiences, and on this podcast, I talk about a few of the recent ones I’ve had Studying Creatures while Urban Sketching. Some of the tings I talk about include, How I’ve started to Fall in Love with the Simple Shapes of Boats, How Nature creates Perfect Shapes, and questions like, Would a Butterfly by Beautiful without Wings?, Why do we Find Spiders Scary?, Do Seagulls have Telepathic Abilities?, What’s life like for a Snail?, and Do Dragonflies look like Helicopters or do Helicopters look like Dragonflies? Studying Creatures is Super Fun, hope you find this Podcast Fun too :)
A few days ago I had my first Lucid Dream … since than, my mind’s gone deep into the Lucid Dreaming Rabbit Hole. I’ve started asking myself: Is it possible to Manifest a Painting while Dreaming, than create it for real when you Wake up? Sounds Bonkers, but turns out there’s proof it can be done :)
This lil ones about the Lucid Dreaming Practice, some of the tings I’ve found helpful in becoming Lucid, and also, the struggles of dedicating to the Lucid Dreaming Practice, while still Producing and Studying Art. The Book Book is Journeys Out Of The Body, by Robert Monroe, the lil Art Tip is about the importance of Drawing What You Love and the Fascinating Fact is the Amount of Time we Spend Dreaming in a Lifetime. Hope you enjoy this one :)
The So Free Art Podcast is heading in a new direction, where it will be more Art and Tings, less Tings and Art :) This episode’s about Focus, Discipline, Studying, Embracing Fears, Awareness, and Internal Burps lol Moving forward each episode will look at Courses, Art Books and Articles I’ve studied that week, and in the process it may allow me to Learn that I haven’t Learnt what I’m Learning :) Lucid Dreaming and stuff will still be on the show, but they’ll be squeezed into a single episode called ‘About The Tings’ every 8 weeks or so, allowing for a more focused podcast. I also give details about how you can win the Sketch with Asia Art Book, and lil Dennis has some friends show up! Hope you enjoy this one, and like the new direction.
‘Take off your Hat and Talk about your Hair’ was this weeks random topic, selected by new employee Dennis the Doggy lol This was a scary episode, where I show my bald patches on camera and talk about my Hair Insecurities and Self Acceptance; I almost didn’t release this one, through Fear of what people may say, but as I talk about on the episode … the only way to deal with Insecurities is to start talking about them, which will hopefully lead to Self Acceptance. Hope you find this one interesting.
Something changed after last weeks fast of not eating any food for 50 hours, because ever since I’ve felt like a different person. It’s Time for Change, and this episode is all about it, Sacrifice and dealing with Videogame Addiction. It’s also episode 50, so to celebrate, I filmed this one in front of the webcam for YouTube. Woohoo! Hope you like this one :)
Dennis had a week off this week, so instead of a random topic, I talk about Haters. Why do Haters Hate? It’s a nice lil discussion that comes full circle at the end, when I start talking about Lucid Dreaming and how you can use them to start facing your fears. I also share a fun way of turning Haters into something positive, that I’m calling the Ice Cream Haters 10, and there’s a lil bit about a new Art Challenge called the Cats of June 2019. As always, hope you enjoy it :)
There was supposed to be a new YouTube video this week, but it never happened because I wanted things to be perfect … so instead of putting something out that wasn’t perfect, I put nothing out :( This week I talk about something I find really hard to do … putting out imperfect work. and how it’s better to put something out that’s good enough, than nothing at all.
On this lil episode, I start by sharing an embarrassing story, before jumping into the main topic of the drawing exercise Automatic Drawing. I also revisit a book I read in 2017 called Feel The Fear and Do It Away, by Susan Jeffers, talk about the subconscious and how 95% of the time we don’t even know we’re doing, and finally … the lil art tip looks at the benefits of taking a break :) Hope you like this one.
This lil episode is another one of those Art Focused Therapy Session ones, where I just empty the contents of my head into the microphone about the topic of Focusing on One Passion. I talk about the conflict of knowing I need to focus on Art, but feeling like I’m not able to … eventhough I know I am. I also talk about another Lucid Dream experience, Mindset while Drawing, Finding Balance, and this weeks lil Art Tip is all about the importance of Keeping Your Old Drawings :)
