For this weeks episode, I takes a look at the book Lucid Dreaming : Gateway to the Inner Self, by Robert Waggoner.
It’s a book I recently finished, and found to be a very fascinating deep dive into the world of Lucid Dreaming.
I also talk about
- this cat that keeps jumping in the window bringing me Dead Mice and Birds,
- a Dream where I’m sure I Saw the Spirit of a Dead Bird pass over,
- and there’s a bit about Automatic Writing too.
Hope you enjoy :)

” LUCID DREAMING ALLOWS US ANOTHER MEANS TO ACHIEVE THE ANCIENT IMPERATIVE, ‘KNOW THYSELF’ “
– Robert Waggoner
‘Talk About Sacrifice’ was this weeks lil topic, not the human kind, but the every day sort of sacrifice :) It ends up going all over the place talking about the Struggles of Pursuing a Passion, while still getting the Bills Paid, what tings you Should and Shouldn’t be Sacrificing, how Transitioning is maybe a Distraction, and how sometimes I feel like Life before Art was so much Simpler… hope you find it interesting :)
‘ Talk About Psychedelics ‘ was this weeks random topic, and it ends up being a right trippy episode talking about, Lucid Dreaming, Mushrooms vs Technology and how Fear appears to be Controlling Society. I also wonder, Are Our Memories Really Dreams?, Are Mushrooms Creating Our Dreams?, and Are Psychedelics Bad, or have we been lied to? I also talk about Why Sketching in Crappy Sketchbooks is a good idea, a Lucid Dreaming Stabilisation Technique Steve Job and I Created within a Lucid Dream lol, how Lucid Dreaming is like a Fear Playground, and there’s a bit about the Fear of Success. Hope you enjoy :)
This weeks lil podcast is all about Art Challenges, and some of the reasons why I believe doing an Art Challenge could be one of the best tings you ever do … even if it does feel a lil bit scary at first :) We also have this weeks lil Art Tip, which is to not waste time focusing on the details, by remembering to ZOOM OUT while Drawing Digitally and STEPPING BACK while Drawing Traditionally :)
Inking, Sketching, Watercolouring and Digital Painting; I talk about all the tings I learnt from the Cats of June 30 Day Art Challenge. There was so much, like how Confidence really shows in your Lines when Inking, how Digital Painting leaves me Exhausted, and how Sketching is a great way to Study other Artists work. I recorded this one down Saltrum, the local woods, and not only were quite a few people were out walking their lil doggies which makes for some fun social moments, but I found a lil pebble which said “You Are Enough” … which is fitting for this episode, as I had all my camera settings wrong, so it’s not the prettiest episode to watch, but I hope you like it :)

It’s that time of year again … when the sun comes out to play, so do the drawing pencils :) It’s time to start sketching people in public, something I was terrified to do at first, but it’s one of the most fun ways to improve, and loosen up, both your drawing, and the mind :)
On this episode I talk about Self Doubt, and how I’m starting to realise, with the help of Lucid Dreaming and Automatic Writing, that Self Doubt is a fear that shouldn’t be something to run away from, but instead embraced, with the Loving arms of Action.
‘Take off your Hat and Talk about your Hair’ was this weeks random topic, selected by new employee Dennis the Doggy lol This was a scary episode, where I show my bald patches on camera and talk about my Hair Insecurities and Self Acceptance; I almost didn’t release this one, through Fear of what people may say, but as I talk about on the episode … the only way to deal with Insecurities is to start talking about them, which will hopefully lead to Self Acceptance. Hope you find this one interesting.
This lil episode is another one of those Art Focused Therapy Session ones, where I just empty the contents of my head into the microphone about the topic of Focusing on One Passion. I talk about the conflict of knowing I need to focus on Art, but feeling like I’m not able to … eventhough I know I am. I also talk about another Lucid Dream experience, Mindset while Drawing, Finding Balance, and this weeks lil Art Tip is all about the importance of Keeping Your Old Drawings :)
On this episode I talk about Self Awareness and Art … Learning how to Draw is all about Self Awareness, such as being aware of Negative Spaces, but it doesn’t have to stop with the Art. This same Self Awareness can be used to start tackling mental issues like OCD, Social Anxiety and even heal suppressed emotional situations from our life. Art is powerful, it always seems to lead to Self Awareness, which seems key to self healing.
