‘Talk About Sacrifice’ was this weeks lil topic, not the human kind, but the every day sort of sacrifice :) It ends up going all over the place talking about the Struggles of Pursuing a Passion, while still getting the Bills Paid, what tings you Should and Shouldn’t be Sacrificing, how Transitioning is maybe a Distraction, and how sometimes I feel like Life before Art was so much Simpler… hope you find it interesting :)

‘You Don’t Need Social Media’ was this weeks lil topic, and I came away from this one thinking, Social Media is a Paradox, because as an Artist … you don’t need it, but you also do need it. Or do you? Maybe you only Feel like you need it? It’s fascinating, but it seems to be about finding balance so that Social Media supports your Art Adventure, instead of becoming the Journey. ‘Take off your Hat and Talk about your Hair’ was this weeks random topic, selected by new employee Dennis the Doggy lol This was a scary episode, where I show my bald patches on camera and talk about my Hair Insecurities and Self Acceptance; I almost didn’t release this one, through Fear of what people may say, but as I talk about on the episode … the only way to deal with Insecurities is to start talking about them, which will hopefully lead to Self Acceptance. Hope you find this one interesting.

‘What are you currently Struggling with?’, is this weeks random topic … and it ends up being an episode about the Struggles of trying to Curate and Focus an Instagram feed: How do you decide what to focus on, when multiple Passions seem right? Do you even need to curate an Instagram Feed? Why is Focus so bleeding hard? lol This one’s a bit like being a pinball bouncing around inside my brain as I try to work out what to do. ‘Talk about your Families Reaction to you being Transgender’ was this weeks random topic. I talk about my experience of Coming Out As Transgender with my Mum, Dad, Niece, Nephew, and Sister; even ringing my Sister up at the end to talk about how she feels about me being Transgender. Hope you like this one :)

This one’s about Iterating in Public, and how I’m going to try a new format for the show. I also talk a lil about my time at a recent Life Drawing class with the amazing Ian Barlow, and a few other bits and bobs. Hope you enjoy it :)

This was a weird one! I was trying to record a different episode talking about some of my Inspirational People, but it was taking so long I thought … let’s make this weeks topic about how stuff takes longer than you think :) Turns out there’s a name for it too, it’s called Hofstadter’s Law.
