This little dude was a hard nut to crack, do you see what I did there? … I’ll get me coat lol I actually drew him twice. The reference image I was using was out of focus so it added another layer of challenge to the mix, and trying to render the tree was too much for me to handle at the moment. I ended up erasing the tree and in the process messing up the background of the original so I decided to start again. He has an attitude about him that I really like, so I was determined to get him finished. I like the look in his eyes, it’s as if he’s thinking, “Oii… this is my nut, back off buddy!”.
“The idea that there are obstacles which cant be overcome is not part of Squirrel’s outlook on life, nor is giving up.”

MORE OF MY PENCIL DRAWINGS
“I’m a massive daydreamer. I’m constantly lost within my own fantasies and my own thoughts personally, and I think maybe that is sort of represented in what we do for a living, the fact that we make believe everything and we escape into these other characters for a living.” – Emily Browning
“I really think it’s important and is why Rocky Horror has stood the test of time. It’s been around for 43 years. It’s liberating: the audience can come along, release themselves and dress up.” – Diana Vickers
“Who are you?
Are you in touch with all of your darkest fantasies?
Have you created a life for yourself where you can experience them?
I have. I am fucking crazy.
But I am free.” – Lana Del Rey
“Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time.”
