AMY COSPLAYING BUBSY
I first drew Amy back in 2013, and I remember a few weeks later she was kind enough to thank me for the drawing. I couldn’t believe it. I’ll never forget that moment; I was shocked she’d even seen my drawing … let alone liked it! One of my long term goals is to bring Amy to life via colour, I’d love to draw her more free flowing as well instead of the strictness of a realistic drawing, I think she’d really come to life.
I actually finished this drawing on April 6th, but I wanted to send it to Amy as a gift and she was kind enough to accept it! I even signed it for her, my first ever signed drawing :) I think I said, “Right, not doing any more now!”, about 20 times on this drawing lol I tried my best, and I really hope Amy likes it. She messaged me today saying “I love it so much!!!!”. She’s my favourite cosplayer, and one of my Inspirational models. She’s such a nice person, I was terrified she wouldn’t like it.
I had a lovely little surprise in 2015 while checking my twitter feed. As I happily scrolled away, a tweet from Amy popped onto my screen. It simply said ‘Tree Lamps‘. The image with the tweet was cut off, so all you could see were a few lights and nothing else. So I clicked it, and was greeted to the image to the left (above on mobile). There it was, my drawing, sat on display, looking all nice and cosy in it’s new home. I smiled :)

“As an aquatic animal, the otter is a symbol of life. Why? Because the prime symbolic meaning of water deals with the divine feminine, which is a major life-giving energy. Water (and otters) are symbolic of creativity, fluidity and transitions.”
“I really think it’s important and is why Rocky Horror has stood the test of time. It’s been around for 43 years. It’s liberating: the audience can come along, release themselves and dress up.” – Diana Vickers
“Who are you?
Are you in touch with all of your darkest fantasies?
Have you created a life for yourself where you can experience them?
I have. I am fucking crazy.
But I am free.” – Lana Del Rey
