At the start of this lil episode I said these podcasts are sometimes like therapy sessions, and this one really was; I literally emptied my mind into the microphone and tried to make sense of my current struggles with Finding Balance between work and play.
I talk about how saying NO to chocolate bars, while only a small thing, is actually helping me say NO to bigger things, like playing videogames. There’s also a bit about how I realised this is about the Discipline of saying NO to the bad things, while cutting down on the things that are good for you, but not directly getting you closer to your goal.
Like everything in Nature, it’s all about finding balance.
I also plop a lil Lucid Dream story in at the end, another one linked to my Healing Lucid Dream from last weeks episode :) Oh, and the Being So Free Transgender Podcast is finally starting up … it’s a bit more work, but the Universe keeps telling me I need to do it, so that should be going live within the next week or so :)

On this episode I talk about Self Awareness and Art … Learning how to Draw is all about Self Awareness, such as being aware of Negative Spaces, but it doesn’t have to stop with the Art. This same Self Awareness can be used to start tackling mental issues like OCD, Social Anxiety and even heal suppressed emotional situations from our life. Art is powerful, it always seems to lead to Self Awareness, which seems key to self healing.
In this lil episode I share some stories from my brief time throwing paint around, while trying Abstract Painting for the first time. As someone whose really only done pencil drawings before, this was a totally different experience … I found to be Fantastically Freeing, and Massively Messy :)
This lil one’s all about finding Focus and Balance by Waking Up Early, something I’ve just started doing, and so far, so good … it almost feels like I’ve magically created extra hours in the day :) I also talk about a couple Lucid Dreams and the lil art tip of the week is to do with pencil cases :)

I talk about how Scary it can be to Commit to an Ink Line knowing you can’t Erase it, Some of my Smudging Struggles and how Pencil Drawing seems to be the most important Art skill.
